Open a Processed Batch

On the Batch Screening page, select a processed batch under Recent batches.

At the top of the results view, you’ll see:

  • Screened names: total number of names screened in the batch.
  • Matched names: number of screened names with at least one match.
  • Match rate: percentage of screened names with at least one match.

The screened records are listed below.

  • External ID: your internal reference ID (external_identifier), if provided.
  • Type: entity type submitted (entity_type), if provided.

  • Matches: number of alerts returned for that record.

Use the Columns button to show or hide columns.

Review Batch Matches

Click a record to open its match details. The Matches table lists each alert for the selected record:

  • Name: name from the watchlist record that matched.
  • Type: type of matched entity, for example, an individual or organization.
  • DOB: date of birth for the matched record, when available.
  • Country: country or countries associated with the matched record, when available.
  • Score: confidence score showing how closely the submitted data matches the watchlist record.
  • Watchlist: list where the match was found, shown by its short code.
  • Last updated: when the issuing authority last updated the watchlist record.
  • First import: when the matched record first entered the sanctions.io system.

Select a match to view its details. Use the up and down arrows at the top of the match details section to move between matches.

A match may include two tabs:

General Additional Information
Confidence score, country of residence, DOB, ID, entity type, listing identifiers, aliases, known locations, and watchlist. Regime, positions, asset freeze, unique ID, name type, remarks, and other details, where available.

Note: The availability of information depends on what the issuing authority has published. sanctions.io displays the data as provided by the original source.

Download a Batch Report

You can download your report in either of these ways:

  • From the portal results view: click Download results in the top-right corner.
  • From Recent batches: click the three-dot menu beside the batch, then select Download results.
  • From email: use the download link sent to the email address linked to your account.

The download is a ZIP file containing the report in Excel, JSON, and CSV formats.

Report availability

Download any reports you need to retain within 30 days of processing.

Deleting a batch also permanently removes its report and invalidates any shared links, even before the 30-day window ends.

For deletion instructions, see Manage and Delete Batch Screening History.
