Managing Team Accounts

Overview

Currently, the sanctions.io platform does not support direct multi-user account management through the user portal or via API. However, we can set up a team or multi-user configuration on our backend. To do so, please follow the steps below.

Add Users to the Company account

  1. Have each team member sign up for their sanctions.io account using your company email domain: Sign Up Here.
  2. Once all team members have registered, our team will receive an automatic notification and will proceed to link accounts under a single company account.
    Note: If the account has a different domain from the company's main account, please contact our Customer Support Team at help@sanctions.io.
  3. Our team will connect the individual accounts on the backend, and each user will be notified via email that their account has been successfully linked.
  4. After setup, each user will have full access to the platform, and usage will be consolidated under the main account.
Processing Time for Linking Accounts

Our team aims to process the request as quickly as possible. While we strive for a fast turnaround, please allow up to 24 hours for the request to be fully completed.

New users will get a confirmation email once the linking process is complete. If you don't receive a notification within this period or still don't have full portal access, please contact us at help@sanctions.io.

Understanding Screening Activity and Access Within Teams in sanctions.io

Currently, search history and results are not shared between accounts, even if they are within the same organization. Each user can only see their own search history and screening results in the Screening Portal.

Once accounts are linked within a team setup, configured by our support team in the backend, all screening activities are consolidated at the main account level for billing and API usage purposes.

If your team requires shared access to search history and/or results, we recommend either:

  • Centralizing screening activities through one main user account (e.g., compliance@company.com) or via the API.
  • Setting up internal workflows to share results (e.g., exporting reports to a shared location or integrating with a ticketing/CRM tool).

 

Remove Users from the Company Account

To remove users from your company account, send a request to our Customer Support Team at help@sanctions.io.

Please include the email address(es) of the user(s) you'd like to remove, and we will take care of it promptly. Once the request is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.
